John Bellavance was "Jolly John" and it was his mission to ensure that deserving families were financially stable during their medical hardships.
Every year 1.5 million new cases of cancer are diagnosed and there are few resources available to help. Thats where the Jolly John's "Keep You Truckin" Fund comes in.

The “Jolly John’s Keep You Truckin Fund” was created to fulfill the vision of John Bellavance, a patient at Backus Hospital in Norwich Connecticut, who touched the lives of everyone he met and lost his battle with cancer in 2012.
To achieve John’s vision, his family members have established this fund in hopes of lightening the financial burden on those stricken with cancer. Each year we will use 100% of the profits brought in from “Jolly John’s Keep You Truckin Fund” to help hard-working families who are struggling to survive.
Everyday many families are ripped apart by this disease, only to be left struggling emotionally, physically, and financially. It was John’s wish to help these families to focus on what is most important, their loved ones.
Yes! We raised $78,686.00 at our annual fundraiser this year, but did you know that we also hold smaller fundraisers throughout the year?
Our Willimantic Elks Vacation Raffle for 2018 raised $4,886.00
The Barrons Birthday Car Auction for 2018 raised $3,850.00
And most recently we accepted a generous donation from the Connecticut Automotive Retailers Association. It was an honor to be selected to receive the donation and we had so much fun attending their Charity Cocktail hour during the Connecticut International Auto Show at Mohegan Sun!
